Pastor Steve, along with his wife Janice and their 3 children, have been fellowshiping and ministering to the body of believers at Calvary Chapel Blue Island since June of 1991 when they relocated to Illinois from California. Steve served as Worship Leader and Asst. Pastor for 6 years before becoming Senior Pastor. He has a heart for getting the WORD of God out to the Chicagoland people and reaching the hurting youth around us.

Deb has a servants heart which makes her one of the greatest assents to our fellowship. Besides serving Pastor Steve and the Board with her administrative skills she also oversees the church's cleaning ministry which services the whole body by preparing the building for all worship and special events.

Bob oversees all of CCBI's media services including the Bookstore and tape/CD ministry. Bob blesses our body with a sensitive heart of prayer and compassion. He and his wife Sherry have been with Pastor Steve since the beginning of his ministry and are faithful to care for the flock God has gathered together.

Mark oversees the usher and deacon ministries. He and his wife Pat are committed to keeping the focus of every labor at CCBI as "unto the Lord." Besides keeping the facility ready for worship, Mark also assists in our Helps Ministry and oversees The Most Excellent Way - our intensive/recovery type discipleship ministry.

Dave and his wife Lynda are long time family members at CCBI. Dave is an accomplished (and anointed) worshipleader who leads us in powerful worship, without distraction, each week. He and Lynda have 2 young children and an older son who helps his dad with the editing of our daily radio programs.

Daniel grow up in Wheaten in a Christian home and was drawn to mission work early on in his life. He met his wife Ayna while on a mission trip to Russia and they currently have one bright eye son, Dahveed. Daniel is also currently finishing up his medical degree at UofC and hopes to one day be on the mission field with is his wife Anya.

Elvia has had a passion for missions and cross cultural ministry since her early days as a believer in Christ. She has been to China and Mexico and participated in numerous national mission trips. Besides the planning and training for CCBI's mission works she also leads our Mission Fellowship which cares for the needs of our missionaries.

Beka is a long time Blue Islander who has a heart for children. She uses her gifts in teaching, administration, and creativity to build the kids of CCBI into lovers of Jesus. Besides overseeing our children's ministry she also is involved with making our puppets and has a special passion for Children's Worship.

Tanya grew up in the Ukraine and came to know the Lord through missionaries. She married James in 1998 and they have 2 beautiful children. Tanya adds a wonderful European influence to our ministry as well as an enthusiasm for mission work.

Joanne brings a love and a joy to her ministry that are the main ingredients for Koinonia. Her ministry supplies the fellowship with an opportunity to express the Agape that is to be our testimony to the world. Both her and her husband have a passion for the word of God that inspirers us all.

Carol and her husband Dennis have been at CCBI for years. They, along with there 3 children, faithfully serving in many areas of the fellowship. Carol is an educator who uses her gifts and knowledge to provide God's word through our website and CD orders to the nationwide audience of "Come and See".

Tom brings a unique heritage of puppet ministry and worship to the ministry at CCBI. His parents were involved in puppet ministry for years at their home church and now Tom carries on the tradition. He is a trained writer as well as director and performer. Besides his heart for theater, Tom has a deep devotion for evangelism which manifests each time the team performs.
